Welcome to Learn to Dance Tango. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of learntodancetango.com and our online video school (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who we are
The Site is operated by David and Nancy (“we,” “us”) from Phoenix, Arizona, USA. We teach Argentine tango through free online videos and, separately, in-person classes in Phoenix.

2. The service
Our mission is to provide excellent tango instruction that is free to use. You may watch videos, read articles, search, use playlists, and (if you register) comment, join the forum, and use other account features.
The Site is provided as-is. We may add, change, or remove content or features at any time. If we later offer paid features, additional terms may apply.
3. Accounts
Registration is optional. If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to register. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review these Terms with you.
We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms or is used to harm the Site or other people.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, download, scrape, or redistribute our videos, text, or other teaching materials for commercial use, or in a way that competes with the Site, without our written permission
- Bypass access controls, disrupt the Site, or attempt to access another person’s account
- Post spam, malware, illegal content, or content that harasses, threatens, or impersonates others
- Use the Site to send unsolicited advertising
Personal study and sharing a link to a page or video on our Site is welcome.
5. Your content
If you post comments, forum messages, or other material, you remain the owner of that content. You grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the Site so other students can see it.
Do not post content you do not have the right to share. We may remove content that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise inappropriate, and we are not required to keep a copy.
6. Our content
Videos, articles, exercises, site design, and other materials on the Site are owned by us or our licensors. Music used in videos belongs to the respective artists and rights holders.
Some videos are hosted by third parties such as Vimeo or YouTube and are also subject to those services’ terms.
7. Dance and physical activity
Tango is physical. Our videos are educational, not personalized medical or coaching advice. You are responsible for deciding whether an exercise is appropriate for you. Dance at your own risk, stop if something hurts, and consult a qualified professional if you have an injury or medical condition.
We are not liable for injury or other harm that may result from following instruction on the Site or practicing tango.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed US $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Arizona will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property or the Site.
