We wanna take a very small detail for us
00:02
to work on about front out shows,
00:05
because as long when we work on the the key piece,
00:08
then the whole thing will flow better and we learn deeper.
00:12
And unfortunately we're picking a few key pieces,
00:14
but we'll do that and that's okay.
00:16
Um, so first you let the shift weight shift
00:21
all the way, you let it quiet
00:25
and then you pivot all the way.
00:27
So there's this sense that of this weight shift, wait
00:29
for it to finish there.
00:30
You let it quiet and then you pivot all the way.
00:33
So that's actually just one thing
00:35
that we're talking about.
00:36
Every time we step, we wanna get over the ball of our foot
00:40
and then establish that axis before we try to move again.
00:46
Um, so I'm going, you, you lead me once
00:48
and I'm gonna show not getting there
00:49
and needing to wait longer.
00:51
So we go. So for example, right here, I'm not there yet,
00:56
so it's not time
00:57
to pivot instead will keep bringing me forward.
01:00
We'll keep bringing me
01:01
forward, we'll keep bringing me forward.
01:03
And then maybe I'm still, oh, the balance is hard
01:05
and I'm oscillating and we'll wait for it to quiet.
01:08
And now we can pivot.
01:11
So you really wanna pay attention are
01:15
for both the followers and the leaders.
01:16
Is she all the way over? Has it quieted?
01:20
Then pivot all the way.
01:22
And that's something the leaders can play with.
01:24
Also finding, helping her find her axis.
01:27
Um, now next idea is that there's a, an instinct
01:30
to use the arms too much and, and it,
01:33
and there's an instinct to say, oh, I want to pivot her.
01:37
This is, no, it's not good.
01:40
Um, so the pivot really comes, um,
01:45
well it depends on your paradigm,
01:46
but in, in my, my current paradigm
01:47
and I've gone through a few phases, it,
01:49
it changes every few years.
01:50
And I have, oh no, I'm more aligned, enlightened.
01:52
And what I thought four years ago was, was not right.
01:56
And it's changed now a few times.
01:58
Um, but in my current best paradigm we have
02:01
that you'll notice there's a little bit of movement
02:06
in my hips and in my hand.
02:08
And it was that much, it was so subtle.
02:10
Looking inside you, how much is my hand moving?
02:13
So if you watch right here with my hip, uh, mom,
02:17
can you put your hand here just as a landmark?
02:19
So there's her hand. And if I wanted to pivot someone,
02:26
do you see that slight movement right here?
02:30
It's so subtle. And that slight movement through my hips
02:34
and low back goes through the arm
02:37
and then creates pressure and crosses her to move. It
02:39
Really makes a pivot for the follower a lot easier.
02:42
And then for her, i I, she finds the pressure going
02:45
through her body and it's that pressure
02:47
that's moving her rather than a massive amount
02:51
of movement in the hand.
02:53
Yeah, there's movement, but it's subtle.
