Sometimes, understanding music and where to place the accent is hard. We talk sometimes about people wanting an easy way to learn something, the "tango pill" rather than persistent study. There are so many areas in which people would like to just skip to the results:

From website: Mandrágora Tango is a tango band headed by bandoneonist Bob Barnes and guitarist Scott Mateo Davies, 2 Minneapolis-based musicians who are wildly passionate about tango. We have been playing tango for dancing and listening since 2001 and we are still going strong. We've played in over 40 cities all over the United States.

So, this is an example of one of those songs that really works well to accent the three and the one, which is unusual, right?
00:11
So, if I count it: one, two, three; one, two, three; one; three, one; three, one; three, one.
00:19
So, there's this: ta-da-TADA-pa-pa-PA-pa.
00:23
...ta. So, count it with me.
00:25
One, two, three; one, two, three; one, two, three; one.
00:30
Instead of just counting: one, two, three; one, two, three - we're counting: one, two, Three; one. And sort of the hit.
00:38
So, if I do this with the left foot basic we did before, for example, you've got:
00:44
One, two, three; one; one, aha, one, two, three; one; one, two, three; one.
00:50
So, there's that extra weight.
00:52
One more time: one, two, three; one; one, two, three; one; one, two, Three; one.
01:00
Which is the "Ah-Uh!"
01:03
If you would do it with rock steps, for example, or check steps, we can go:
01:08
One, two, three; one, two, three; one, two, three; one.
01:13
So, that's very different.
01:15
It was actually, I first heard this in a class I was taking with Pablo Veron, and I really liked it, so... dance.
