(Nancy speaking) In this combination, the follower takes one step around the side of the leader to move from back ochos to front ochos and then back again. One step and all of a sudden everything has switched around. Sometimes, in life, it's hard to recognize that one moment where a small decision will change everything. Like Frost's, "The Road Not Taken". It helps to develop a habit of paying attention, of listening to your life, if you will. There is something similar in this quality of listening to the listening we teach leaders and followers to do to each other's bodies.

Complex tangos sung in both spanish and yiddish with great authenticity.

From artist's website about one album: Tells the story of piringundines, from German cabaret to the Buenos Aires tango venue, and with the tango it will take us through a history of crossed destinies, and misunderstandings, love, and forget that we identifys as Argentinians.

00:20
And we could keep going.
00:22
N: Yes, I could keep going with this one.
B: But it’s one way of switching...
00:25
..from front ochos to back ochos.
00:27
And this is not the easiest of the ways.
00:30
So it starts with front ocho as normal...
00:32
..side, he changes, pivot or step
or any other entrance you want.
00:36
Now here, I stay planted on my right foot and...
00:39
..I pivot to my right. So she pivots,
side, around me.
00:42
And I move my center of gravity
a little bit back.
00:44
Let me show that from another angle.
00:47
So we have our front ocho.
00:50
And now here to let her step around me,
you’ll see...
00:52
..I don’t only pivot her,
I shift back a little bit...
00:56
..and then I go back forward again
to take her space as she pivots...
00:59
..as she arrives over her left foot
and then the back ocho.
01:05
So what he said was really good.
He said as she arrives over her foot.
01:09
We need to make sure that we arrive over our feet
before we start the next step.
01:13
Can you show if I lead it - not arriving?
01:17
Sure.
01:19
I don’t know if this is a compliment
that he does a better bad than I do.
01:23
I’ll start.
01:29
Yes, there. It kind of stumbles around.
That was a pretty good bad.
01:32
And so if we exaggerate the bad in a slower way...
01:35
..here if I don’t stand all the way over this foot
and I go straight over.
01:39
Or you see I'm not -
01:40
Let’s see, different angle.
01:42
I’m not over that foot and yet I stumble back.
01:46
That’s so doesn’t work.
01:47
So for the follower; if he is going too fast,
you take your time.
01:51
Make sure you’re over your axis
before you go and that will help a lot.
01:56
D: Let’s show from another couple of angles.
N: Okay.
