It's very much in the lore that you should always work on your basics. There's a joke that goes beginners take intermediate classes, intermediate dancers take advanced classes and advanced dancers take beginning classes.
We'd like to emphasize, however, that it's not just about repetition. It's about mindfully examining what you're doing and about ways of getting feedback to be able to improve what you're doing. Learning is about subtly varying and exploring the movement so that it is no longer the same.
