About David

David brings an intriguing combination of delight, patience, skill and creativity to the teaching of Argentine Tango.

He is a very analytical teacher, with a deep understanding of what makes movement beautiful. He also has a unique ability to create simple exercises and to provide explanations which transmit this understanding to his students.

David has studied movement reeducation (Ideokinesis and Feldenkrais) and also rhythm analysis. He has studied modern dance with Marni Wood (former dancer / director of the Martha Graham school) and with Ethel Dias (current teacher with the Alvin Ailey Company). In addition, he has studied Argentine Tango with Michael Walker and with many world class Argentine performers and instructors. He has been teaching Argentine Tango for over 20 years.

Nancy borbulha com entusiasmo e alegria. Ela acredita firmemente que é tão importante para as pessoas saberem o que fazem exatamente como podem melhorar.

Nancy tem uma incrível capacidade de ver onde os estudantes estão e onde eles podem estar. Ela também cria exercícios, geralmente projetados para mudar profundamente a forma como os alunos se relacionam com seus corpos e com o movimento.

Nancy teve uma vasta educação em arte e música clássica, além de estudar dança clássica há mais de 20 anos. Ela atuou na cidade de Nova York e no prestigiado Jacob's Pillow. Estudou Tango argentino com David e com Michael Walker.

Sobre nossos estudantes

Nossos estudantes atuais incluem pessoas que se apresentaram com o Joffrey Ballet, na Broadway, com a Erick Hawkins (Modern) Dance Company e em Las Vegas. Professores de dança social e clássica fazem nossas aulas. Temos estudantes atuando em festivais internacionais de dança e para grandes corporações.
