For Followers: This requires your molinette technique be "even more perfect". To give the leader room to sacada, you have to really role to the top of the ball of your foot. And you need to shift your body in a way that is very connected to the leg. If the body lags, or the heel stays down too long, then the leader won't be able to get in.

Changing topics, we think that it's good to sometimes work on stuff that's very hard because it does demand that you improve your techique.

And onward.
00:24
But, the idea is that you grab sacada, sacada,
touch, pivot or something like that.
00:29
Let’s do once in slow motion.
00:31
So it starts with molinette.
I'm starting side, pivot her...
00:34
She goes forward, I grab a sacada.
00:36
And I make like it’s nothing.
00:38
Pivots, comes in. As she goes side, I grab a sacada
00:41
.. there on her side step.
00:44
As she goes back,
I touch on the other side of her foot.
00:47
And then I pull my foot in
and take the sidestep.
00:51
I circle...
00:52
And now same thing happens,
but now with my left leg.
00:55
And I’m fighting not to sickle that foot.
00:58
Grab the sacada, sacada, my feet are changing.
01:01
Now with my left leg, she pulls in, I
enjoy that pivot and this is where we started.
01:08
So, you can do that as long as you like.
But, don't do it too long.
01:13
Well, you get dizzy after a while.
01:15
Most people get dizzy after that.
01:16
Really the key - and we said this
in other chapters, but I’ll say it again here.
01:20
How often is too often to hear the key?
01:24
What’s the key?
01:26
For the leaders, as you're pivoting
so that she goes forward, you’re moving your body.
01:29
So I pivot her, we extend our legs together
and here we shift together.
01:35
And we do that every time.
01:36
Here, as she extends her leg,
I extend mine.
01:38
And as she shifts, I shift.
01:42
Here, as always, ladies you collect in, so you can go around
and then it repeats but with the other leg.
01:49
That one is a little bit harder as opposed to
all the other ones we've been teaching.
01:53
We did have one where we said
it was pretty easy.
01:55
Yes we did. It's unusual for us.
But this one isn't one of those.
02:00
Practice the little pieces.
