There are some ideas/combinations that share similar principles. For example, in volcada, maybe you say you lift up and in. But the "up" is true of any time you want her to not step. And the holding in is any time you want her to do something precarious (ex. colgada).

For the kicks, the idea is the throwing and catching of momentum. Often, the real thought, at least for the leaders, the lead you learn in one place probably translates to a lot of places. So you don't learn to lead a step, you learn concepts which apply within a place in a certain step.

For Followers:: Now that you're getting sufficiently advanced, we really want to focus on cleanliness, precision and clarity. So, if the leader is leading the step too fast, ask them to slow down, so you can feel the connection of the legs, the rotation, the extension and movement of the thigh, the accent and then the collection again. Each part being crystal clear.

Especially while you're learning, try not to go too fast. You can use your mouth to slow them down as well as your body.
