Milonga Introductory Vocabulary - Crab
This was taught to us as a milonga basic. One of the interesting things about milonga is that there is no consensus on what a basic is. So there are lots of milonga basics. This is our second step which is "the basic" for milonga.
One thing that works very nicely from a musical perspective is the way you can go on the 4th step which can be on the 4th beat of music. There can be a little bit of extra breadth and suspension as you have "and" and step forward (or back for the follower) into the "one".
We want to say something like "after the breadth and suspension, comes the fall, as you go into the one and onward."

His orquesta típica was among the most popular with social dancers during the golden age of tango (1940-1955), but he changed to a concert sound by the late 1950s. Troilo's orchestra is best known for its instrumentals and also recorded with many vocalists.
